There has been nothing interesting at all to report. Work-wise that is. I mean I’ve been trying to do my own stuff, and I can’t talk about the stuff that are going on at work (for obvious reasons - SHHH!), but I got into this New Era-competition, and that’s pretty neat. Been lazy with this blog… WHOOPS. Whatever, here’s the scoop:

I made it through the internship, and even got myself a permanent job as an associate designer with the agency. WOOO. I’m giving it my best, and I love the people, so I’m really enjoying London. (Maybe that’s why I don’t have time for this blog etc… HE HE.)

I’ll write something when I have something awesome to show. I’ve been working on two pieces, but I’m not sure on how to finish them… Will keep y’all posted on how that goes. BYE!

HEY ‘professional’ blog! I forgot about you there for a second!

Big things have happened - I started the internship in London! Flew in last Sunday and started work on Monday - so first week; check! It’s been really good so far - the people at the office are really friendly and talented, the clients are amazing and I’m actually quite humbled that I get to be a part of it all. (Cheesy, but true!)

A part from that, I’m still trying to keep busy with freelance, and most recently I finished up a logo for my bff Nora. (And in the making of it, I realized that I have a passion for making “neon” sign-gifs… So you’ll definitely see more of that in the future…)

I’ve got to finish up a t-shirt design for a friend back at home right now, and try to mend the crazy cold I got as a welcome present from London, but I’ll be back when I have new fun stuff. TTYL.

Got tattoos last week, haha! I made a “bear suited” skeleton, original design made by Jose Pulido - super talented artist that makes awesome stuff - and three diamonds, foremost because I really like hand tattoos and diamonds, haha… And be sure that I’ll be getting more in the future. Don’t know where, when and all that, but yeah… ADDICTED.

Thought I’d share something I did to my friend Nora while we all await my freelance work - leopard spot nails!

Nail polish used (for those who might wonder); Isa Dora 652 Gold Sparkles, a custom made brown shade - containing an orange (how come you don’t use clearly stated numbers/names?), and a little black from Depend, and the same gold as the base - and then the spots just regular black polish. Tip: If you got a steady hand, you don’t need to spend a lot on nail detail brushes etc! Regular paint brushes will do just fine, just remember to clean them (with nail polish remover) often while you’re doing it, as most polishes are very quick drying and will become sticky.

Now I gotta continue with another small freelance I got from a classmate-friend! Woo!

Hellooo! I sent away one of my last versions for my freelance gig and found myself having some free time to finish up some stuff that’s been sitting around, looong overdue. So here’s what I did;

It’s the Shemal! A merged sheep-camel!

Formerly known as Lambiz-sheep (as in the mascot of Lambi Kids toilet paper…), Shemal is now a proud camel, chilling with his friends by a palm tree, haha…
This actually took up a lot of time once I started the project, because I didn’t realize that the plastic was going to be crappy and that spackling paste is a bitch to work with. But it turned out OK all in all, and as for a submission for a kids DIY-contest, it’s effing amazing, haha. (You can check other peoples submissions here! And don’t hate - there wasn’t an age limit or anything… I wouldn’t cheat…)

I’ll link everything once my image is up and running at their site. ‘Cause you know… You’ve got to vote for me, riiight? For now - stay classy, Planet Earth. *cheeze ball*
