YOUR HEART BEAT NEXT TO MINE
Started off the day by coming a little late for work, due to the move-in to Park La Brea and thanks to bus 212. At work, we presented our tee prints to the boss, who gave us very positive response and so on, etc, blah blah blah. After lunch, Sandra came and picked us up and drove us to the Social Security Office on Vine St. We had forgotten like four papers that we had to present, so we set that on “Hold”, and went to Downtown LA to go the IRS. It went super fast with the IRS lady, since we couldn’t apply for a ITIN (It’s like a Tax Payment ID number that you need to get on payroll..) until we’ve worked and lived in the States for six months… That was a total snore and so not worth the $8 I payed for parking or if you prefer; Like 10-15 minutes of nothing. So back in the car, drove to PLB to get the papers, and back to the Social Security Office.
I shared a laugh with my social security officer, when I told her that my mothers middle name is Gun-Mari… When we were all done, me, Sandra and Carin hit some random american food place and grabbed a pizza and had a very serious girl talk.
Went back to PLB and started to assemble the stuff that’ll soon be our home. And stuff is really happening! We might get a couch soon (which we will buy for $40), tomorrow is Jills birthday (Remember to make a birthday cake and bring) and Sandras young african-american guy thinks I have a nice ass. God bless America!
